Point Blank Lake House
Welcome to our Point Blank Lake House project! Our team had some serious F-U-N with this home. We pushed ourselves to go outside of our familiar, neutral-based comfort zone and get creative with color, patterns and texture and, luckily, our sweet client’s were totally on board to get colorful, too! It’s only fitting for a lake house, right? From detailed millwork, bold hues, modern finishes and charming details, this house embodies a multitude of styles such as modern farmhouse, California coastal and Southern traditional. The styles all blend together to create a warm, inviting, beautiful lake house that’s perfect for entertaining family and friends.

Which services did you receive from Moore House Interiors: New Construction Design, Furnishing Design & Styling
What brought you to Moore House Interiors?: We initially wanted help with our floor plans. We quickly figured out that in building a custom home, there are ton more decisions/options/things to consider and we wanted Moore House's expertise and help with the entire project.
What did you enjoy about working with Moore House Interiors?: Moore House took want we wanted in a home and made it even better! They took inspiration from all of our design boards and helped us to create a cohesive look that matched those designs for the entire house. They really listen to all of our feedback and were always open to pivot or find more options so the home turn out exactly how we wanted. They were also very prompt to answer emails/texts/phone calls with questions along the way.
Would you recommend us to a friend? Why or why not?: Absolutely! Y'all helped the home building/furnishing process go so smoothly. There are so many options when building and you guys helped us narrow down options in a way that reflected our style. I'm pretty sure I'd still be picking out which shade of white to paint the walls if we didn't hire y'all!
What motivated you to hire a designer? Was there a particular reason you chose Moore House Interiors?: We had never built a custom home before and needed a little hand holding through the process. We also wanted to do it right the first time. We wanted our lake house to be a place we can go and relax and enjoy and not have a list of home projects to complete. It was amazing to walk in on install day and have the house be complete done! Before hiring Moore House, we looked through there portfolio of work and they were a great blend of my husband and my design styles.
Do you feel our design fees are fair based on the service you received?: Yes!
What was your favorite part of working with us? What was your favorite part of your design experience?: The design presentation days were like Christmas! It was so fun to see all of the design ideas come to life. You guys also did a great job of listening to all of our feedback and finding pieces for our home that reflected our wants and needs for the space.
Do you think investing in a designer's services is worth it compared to doing it yourself? Do you feel a designer brings value to the process?: Yes, because it's done right the first time. Y'all have such great knowledge all the different finishes and furniture items and how they looked made up. You guys also have access to so many more vendors then we would have if we did it ourselves. And y'all made it all come together beautifully!
Many people say that interior design is a luxury service & it’s too expensive. What do you say to your friends & family who believe that they might not be able to afford it?: Moore House definitely helped us find finishes that were within our budget. We went a little crazy with all the mill work (which was totally worth it!), but other than that they found finishes that were the design we wanted within our budget. They did a great job of guiding us on where to splurge and where to save. With the furniture, they did a great job of seamlessly mixing high and low pieces.
Would you hire a designer again for a future project? Any designer!: Yes! Do y'all want to come redo our current home!?!
Do you have any additional feedback for us? Anything in particular you would like to share with potential future clients?:Working with y'all was a great experience! You guys did an awesome job of mixing my husband and my styles and requests to create a home that is not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and livable as well. We couldn't be happier with finished product!
